Today in Principles of Technology 2, I finished developing my storyboard for the project that we are making in class. This project is about the Dominican Republic and our job is to make a video to show to incoming tourists about the good things of our country and school. Everybody is assigned a specific area to film and work on. At the end we will bring all the movies together and make it one. I also finished my keyboarding lessons #1-34 and I am at the brink of finishing my IR Led Pen video. Some final touches and I’m good to go.

In Principles of Technology 2, we have been working on our how-to video on the creation of an IR pen using a wiimote. We are using Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 to create the video. With this video we are looking forward to show people how to successfully and correctly install and create an IR pen by giving step by step instructions. Besides the instructions, I have implemented security and useful tips to have a better experience while creating this pen. My video is almost finished. After I put the voice over in the video, I will be done.

Today in Principles of Technology 2 i finished my car video project in Adobe Premiere CS3. I personally think it is a very fun video and it is a bit funny to watch. I learned how to do reverse video and how to access the master volume in clips. I am very happy because it is a Friday and i will have a lot of fun in cabarete this whole week! Today in Principles of Technology 2, I continued to work on my Adobe Premiere CS3 video. I looked for songs to match my videos and to insert them. I also watched some videos in atomic learning for further information on how to make my video. For Friday I will do the essay instead of the video. Today is the Technology showcase at 2:30 and the whole class has to be here.

Today in the class of Principles of Technology 2, i played chess in the computer with my IR LED Pen. Ms. Norman took pictures of me playing while i was playing chess for the website. I also filmed myself playing to add it in the final video in Adobe Premiere CS3. This is basically everything we did in class today.

Today in class of Principles of Technology 2, we continued to work on our whiteboard IR LED pens. We continued to build them and I can’t wait to get over this hard project. It is a very hard project and time must be used well to accomplish things in this project. I am almost finishing my first pen and next class I plan on finishing it and starting on my second one.

Today in Principles of Technology 2, we created videos with a FlipVideo. Our objective today was to create a how to video on how to make an Wiimote Whiteboard IR Pen. I partnered up with Francisco in class and we worked on our videos. We still haven't finished yet but we are hoping to finish next class.

Today in Principles of Technology 2 we visited www.instructables.com for further reference on the materals we will need for the wiimote project next class. Here they gave step-by-step instructions on how to correctly do the pens. In class also, we worked on Adobe Premiere with our clips. I watched videos in atomic learning concerning on how to create slow motion effects on videos. The worst thing is that we have homework for the weekend!!!

In today's Principles of Technology 2 class, we watched more videos of Adobe Premiere CS3 in atomic learning. We watched how we were able to make in and out points in clips placed inside Premiere. These videos help us familiarize with Premiere for when the project time comes. If we need further help, we can refer to the videos in atomic learning for assistance. Today's class was shortened due to early dismissal so we couldn't get much accomplished.

Today in Principles of Technology 2, we watched youtube videos about a guy named theMMal. He shows people in youtube how to use Adobe Premiere CS3. He has reached 26,000 + views on youtube and has 5 star ratings. For homework, we have to watch some of his videos. By next class, we should be able to work well with Premiere. This is due to theMMal's good explaining for new people on Adobe. In class, we played around with Premiere like moving clips around and extending or shortening them.

In today's class of Principles of Technology, we just left Adobe Illustrator and started to work on a new program called Adobe Premiere CS3. With this we will be able to manipulate videos. We started to get familiar with this new software by entering in atomiclearning.com. Here we learned how to import files and how to get familiar with the tools palette. Basically, this is going to be a hard software to work with but I think I can do it.

Today in Principles of Technology 2 we continued with Adobe Illustrator. I finished the Pencil lesson today. It was preety easy, but it took some time to finish. We had to pay careful attention because if we missed a step, we had to redo the whole thing. I'm looking forward to finishing the snowboarder assignment next class.

In today's Principles of technology class we saw the videos we created with the FlipVideo Cameras. For that assignment we had to make a how-to using those cameras. In class, we continued to work on Illustrator. I am on page 79 right now and i just finished the French Fries lesson. Next class I want to finish the next assignment.

Today's class in PT2

In today's class, we had to turn in our homeworks. It conisisted in creating a blog (this blog) and to bring in a shopping list of what materials we will need for the WiiMote Project. We placed all of the class' ideas together and we created a word document to access it later. Later in class we started to work in Illustrator. We are still following some instructions from a packet. I could only get to page 70 of the packet. This is what we did in class today.

What I would like to learn in PT2

In this second semester in the most wonderful class of Principles of Technology 2, i would like to learn many things. These things consist of how to master Adobe Illustrator, how to play around with DreamWeaver and learning how to work with Adobe Premiere. We are going to work on this for the whole semester and i hope i learn a lot. I beleive all these softwares will help me in the long run and whenm i become an adult.
